We enclose a review.
We would be lying if we said we had listened to every note of every tune. We would also be lying if we gave a detailed resume of each musician. But then a ceilidh band isn't about musical dissection or critical analysis, it is first and foremost about a rollicking good time, and that is what you get with the Millstone Ceilidh band!
We booked the band for our wedding ceilidh. Being regulars at ceilidhs we had seen the Millstone ceilidh band previously so we knew what we were getting. The band members are all accomplished musicians and together hold a wealth of folk music knowledge. Having played together for many years the band have that 'understanding' and really bring tunes alive.
Many of our wedding guests had neither attended or heard of a ceilidh so perhaps the many comments we received from them stand testament for the band. So many said that their first experience of a ceilidh was very enjoyable, fun, the best wedding they had been to. Many of our guests said they wanted to attend future ceilidh events. They were really saying how much they enjoyed the wonderful music and dances and the all inclusive feel you get at a ceilidh. We are looking forward to the next ceilidh soon. We say Thank you Millstone Ceilidh Band, you made our special day, special for all our guests too.
